Subnautica Nitrox — open-source co-op for Subnautica
Nitrox is an open-source multiplayer modification for Subnautica. It adds real co-op: shared ocean world, build bases together, follow the story together. No split-screen, no instancing — one planet, shared.
What it gives you
- Shared world: everyone sees the same ocean, the same creatures, the same base
- Story together: main quests, scanner room, events shared across all players

Which Cyberpunk 2077 patches does NightCoop support?
Open beta: patches 2.5 and 2.31. Everyone in the session needs the same mod build.
How many players, and is CET required?
Up to 8 (host + 7). RED4ext is bundled. Cyber Engine Tweaks is not required. Phantom Liberty is optional.
How do I install NightCoop?
Download the archive from this page, unpack it into the game folder (bin + red4ext). Co-op appears in the main menu.
Is this the TrainerHub trainer?
No. NightCoop is a story co-op mod. Don’t run the TrainerHub trainer in a co-op session.
How to install
- Download TrainerHub from the button on this card.
- Open TrainerHub → Files → Subnautica Nitrox → Download (opens the official Nitrox site).
- Download the Nitrox installer from nitrox.rux.gg only.
- Run the installer — it finds your Subnautica folder automatically.
- Launch Nitrox, create or join a server.
